Terms & Conditions of ordering:
Placing an order with L’orchidee: Once an order has been placed Online or at any of our shops in person, by email or over the phone, the customer is subject to our terms and conditions automatically.
The full payment is required when placing the order
We require a minimum of 2 full days to fulfil your order
Due to the number of order we handle it is important that you check that you have selected the right delivery date and collection point or delivery address, you may be able to change it but it might incur in extra costs depending on the request, please note that you can change the delivery/collection date only 2 full working days before the delivery/collection date.
Collecting an order: You may collect your order in one of our stores is previously stated when placing the order, please check the website for our business opening times but note that collections can only be done after 11:30am.
Product Images: L’orchidee aims to match the product image every time but being a handmade made to order food item some or part of the decoration or colours may vary.
Deliveries: It is your full responsibility to be present in the location requested for the delivery as well as supply the correct details for our drivers or couriers to deliver your goods, if any of the details are incorrect this causes to re-deliver you might incur in extra charges which are at the discretion of the company.
We can confirm a delivery date but not a delivery time, our driver will call you 1 hour before to confirm that the order is on its way, it’s is the responsibility of the customer to be present to receive their order, if the customer is not present our driver might be able to come back at a later time but this is not guaranteed, L’orchidee reserves the right to send your order to our closest shop for collection and the delivery charge will not be refundable if the client is not present. Deliveries can be done between 7 am to 6 pm.
What happens if the customer does not collect the order on the day requested? L'orchidee will be making the products that the customer have ordered fresly made for the date of delivery or collection requested, it is the responsability of the customer to collect the cake on the date requested. if the customer does not collect the cake L'orchidee might be able to arrange a delivery only if the customer requests it 24 hours in advance, We would hold any products up to 3 days from, after this 3 days the product will not be suitble a for selling and unfortunately it will be dispossed, we will be unable to offer a new product, we will not be able to offer a refund and we will not be able to offer any discounts for a new product as L'orchidee have fullfilled its resposability of producing an item that was not collected.
Changes to orders: You may request a change after placing an order but we might not be able to accommodate late changes, approved changes may incur in further charges.
Allergies: It is full responsibility of the customer to inform us in writing of any severe allergies, our catalogues, website and staff have all the information about our products but it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the product is perfectly suitable for the consumer, however we cannot guarantee any products free from any trace elements due to the nature of the kitchens
Food Safety: L’orchidee follows strict health and safety guidelines. Chilled food can only be left out of refrigeration for a maximum of four (4) hours. After this time the food will be deemed unsafe and consequently disposed of. It is full responsibility of the customer if they consume any items that might have been outside the fridge for longer than 4 hours.
Value Added Tax: The recipient of a supply under contract will pay any applicable Value Added Tax at the same time as paying for the supply of good, some items might be zero rated and it will be clearly specify on our invoices and quotes the total of VAT paid. Our VAT number is GB-119880487
Exchanges or replacements: L'orchidee Requires a proof of purchase to deal with any complaints or exchanges, we accept a bank statement, screen shots of mobile banking, confirmation emails or L'orchidee receipts, failing to provide one of the above will not allow us to process your claims. In the unlikely event that one of our products is not up to standard We would require the products to be broght back to any of our stores to be able to verify that there are issues with the products, failing to bring the cake back or provide any pictures would result in not being able to pocess any complaints.
Refund policy : L'orchidee specials limited does not offer refunds, regardless of the issue; L'orchidee can only offer you a partial discount on your next order or a whole new caken for the same value of your initial purchase; we reserve the right to allocate the discount appropriate for each other, even if a cake is brought back we will not be able to process refunds.
Cancellation policy for any product supply by L’orchidee:
In the regrettable situation that the Client cancels an special order of macarons, cakes or any patisserie item sold by L’orchidee, written notification is required, and the following cancellation fees with apply regardless of the ordering date:
Over 14 days prior to the delivery or collection date we have a small charge of £10 to cancel an order to cover ordering costs.
At least (14) days prior to the delivery or collection date: (50%) of invoice will be charged by L’orchidee
Al least (7) days prior to the delivery or collection date (75%) of the full amount will be charged by L’orchidee
At least (3) days or less prior to the delivery or collection date, One hundred percent (100%) of the total invoice charge is to be paid by the Client to L’orchidee.
Website Terms & Conditions
This website is intended to be used by children under 18 years of age, if you are under 18 you may browse, however you will not be allowed to place orders as per credit card identification.
L’orchidee reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, cancel orders at its discretion and without limitation if l’orchidee believes that the customer conduct violates English law or can be damaging to the interests of L’orchidee specials ltd or discriminatory in any way.
TradeMark: L’orchidee is a registered trademark of L’orchidee specials ltd, all our Logos, Name, pictures and artwork, service names and other trademark’s must not be used without previous written authorisation from our Managing director.
Copyright: All content included on this website, such as text, graphics, logos, buttons, icons, images, audio clips, and software, is the property of L’orchidee specials ltd and it should not be Used, copied, duplicated or reproduced, this is protected by copyright laws in the U.K. and internationally.
Uploads: Any individual uploading comments, reviews, images and any form of content to our website or social media channels gives L’orchidee perpetual, royalty free, irrevocable right of distribution, use, publish, translate, update and modify as L’orchidee finds suitable, you also give the right to publish the name used while submitting the content if any.
Price changes: L’orchidee reserves the right to make price changes without previous notice but no price increase will be applied to confirmed and paid orders, please note that quotations do not qualify as confirmed orders.
Governing Law, Jurisdiction: These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with UK laws.
